From everyday conversations to the highest-risk assignments — three tiers of protection, one philosophy.
Privacy isn't a privilege. But not everyone faces the same threat.
Privacy shouldn’t require a threat model. But the tools that protect it can still be matched to one. Arpokrat’s ecosystem spans three tiers — from a free messenger anyone can install in seconds, to a hardened operating system built for people whose safety depends on it.
No phone number, no account, no learning curve. If you send messages, this is for you. Explore Arpokrat Messenger →
A de-Googled, hardened Android for people who want serious privacy without giving up GPS, banking apps, or daily convenience. Not released yet. See what’s coming →
When a compromised device isn’t an inconvenience but a critical failure. Explore ArpokratOS Hardened →
Arpokrat Messenger is free, open source, and ready in seconds — no phone number, no email, no account.
If all you want is for your conversations to stay yours, this is the whole product. It installs like any other messenger, and your identity is a cryptographic key generated on your device rather than a row in someone’s database. Nothing about it assumes you are being targeted — it just doesn’t collect what it doesn’t need.
ArpokratOS Essential keeps GPS, Bluetooth, and NFC active for everyday use — the same foundation as Hardened, tuned for daily convenience.
Essential is for people who want a de-Googled, hardened Android but still need maps, contactless payment, and the apps daily life runs on. Arpokrat Messenger and TorVPN are built in, exactly as they are on ArpokratOS Hardened.
It is not available yet, and there is no confirmed price, release date, or final feature set. No sign-up and no email list either — follow the Arpokrat blog for launch news.
The hardened tier exists for a narrower case: people whose work makes their phone a target.
ArpokratOS Hardened is the maximum-isolation tier — GPS, Bluetooth, and NFC disabled at the kernel, a duress PIN, and Arpokrat Messenger and system-wide Tor built in. The four profiles below are where that trade-off tends to be worth making.
Protecting a source means protecting the device that talks to them. In hostile environments, a compromised phone can expose more than a story.
A leaked negotiation or legal strategy has real financial consequences long before it becomes public.
Buying for a firm rather than for yourself? Arpokrat Enterprise covers fleet deployment, from ten devices upward.
Modern surveillance doesn’t require physical access to a device — network-level compromise is often enough.
Visible wealth and traceable habits are what make targeting possible in the first place.
ArpokratOS Hardened prioritizes isolation over integration. If you need the Google Play ecosystem, mainstream social apps, or cloud backups, ArpokratOS Essential — or a different device entirely — may serve you better. Hardened exists for the specific, narrow case where that trade-off is worth making.
Most people are well served by the messenger alone. If you think you need more than that, the ArpokratOS page sets out exactly what the hardened tier changes — and what it costs you in convenience.
